With that said, I'll cough up the money for my kids to have (maybe) a once in a lifetime experience to see a good band. I'm not gonna pay for it on a routine basis but the Chili Peppers at Fenway Park as your first big show will probably be an experience he'll never forget. I'm jealous that I'm not going.

Remember your first real concert? Remember the decibel levels that made talking to the person next to you impossible? The light show, the crowd intensity? Remember how many days it took for your ears to stop ringing?

I've wasted more money on stupider (is that a word?) $hit.

(voluntarily paying $162 to see Earth Wind and Fire would rank in my top ten of wasting money on stupid $hit... that's like 16 cases of Huber Bock)

Might have to go car shopping with a friend. Her car is fine but it's getting to the age where little repairs are starting to pick away at her up like the ball joints, exhaust.... Stuff that typically starts to go with wear and tear.

It's not the best time to be looking for a car but probably she wants to start sniffing around to see whats out there. She doesn't drive much (mostly just around town) and doesn't really want to have a big car payment so lease type thing would probably fit her needs and budget.
