Work week over, but going back tonight for some double time and a half. Plus gotta make up the hours missed from my vacation before the end of my contract.

Gotta scrape up the money for the wife's new patio too.

Looking like a fishing trip to the Coronado Islands is on the schedule for Saturday... woo hoo! It's super early in the season, but the bottom fish are always hungry.

Going to be a rainy week here. Highs in the same 38-43 degree range. 60-80% rain chances through Thursday into Friday.

Whistle: You might be right (nitrogen in tires). We only get about a month in the Fall where our swings are 50 degrees. Do you go someplace special for them tp put Nitro in your tires?

DED: The ratio is ridiculously off though. Unless Chevy outsells Ford, Toyota, and Honda 8-1, what I'm seeing is different from your reality. And as dkeage & danm will testify, I'm not a Ford apologist.

Thing is, the Chevs are coming in just outside of warranty as well. It looks like exquisitely executed planned depreciation.

Well... it was only a matter of time before it happened. Thankfully it ended with no injuries. And now Tank knows not to play with coyotes.

I let him run around because he burns more energy chasing rabbits, squirrels and birds (he actually got a bird yesterday). He was running through the scrub chasing a rabbit and flushed a coyote. Immediately gave chase, and I yelled for him to come back. He caught it and took a bite, then turned to come back to me...

The damn sh*t coyote was sneaking up behind him for a little revenge bite, so I started running toward them yelling at the coyote. Coyote had his head down and tail tucked... but was still coming for a nip. He nipped Tank on the butt and then bolted. I leashed Tank and got a bit of video of the sh*thead coyote running away. NSFW language.

Tank runs around that meadow like he owns the place, tail high, and strutting. The rest of the walk he didn't stray far from me and his tail was down and he looked nervous. Hopefully he learned a lesson today.

Thankfully good outcome. Jessie the Cat has 2 mice kills too her credit.

Glad Tank got an easy lesson, 'Yotes have often have buddies nearby.

We've seen 4-5 at a time there. Last couple times this fella was by himself.

I'll give the coyote credit for the 1v1 revenge effort at least. Gotta teach Tank to back away from his enemies. Keep his guard up.

Got franked over real bad yesterday.

I was on the phone with my car salesman trying to get out of my 2021 Accord Sport SE and into a 2022 Honda Accord 2.0T. Looked like it would happen without much more than $10/month more.

Then, a couple hours later, BOOM!!! I was rear-ended... with heavy damage.

Yesterday the trade-in value was $30-31k and my lease buy-out was only $24,700. So, even though the vehicle will be expertly repaired, that equity is erased because the car has been in a crash.

Poof... $5,300-$6,300 on paper- GONE IN A SECOND! [barf]

Damn, rfenst... how about suing the insurance company for the depreciation? Not right that you have to swallow the loss on an accident that was clearly not your fault.

Any Toyota dealership in Texas or Oklahoma,I'm sure there are other places but why bother when you can get serviced by a Japanese .....................oh yea we're talking about nitrogen.
