I have a friend with a pool and a boat. Same guy, too. I just bring beers and cigars and split costs for gas/bait.

Of course, he uses me for slave labor at times. I help with maintenance and have also helped with yard work and stuff...

Totally worth it.

Good Monday Morning! It's a gorgious 67° on the way to 79° today.

One of our neighboors just got a $170k for a 16 foot retaining wall so he can have a pool built in his back yard, pure insanity, the price and getting a pool, IMO. That is juts for the wall, it still has to be filled, compacted and then a pool built.

1 hour 45 minute walk... breakfast, relax for a bit... 30-40 minutes at the park chasing a ball... and the little bassturd is gonna bug me in a couple hours to play ball again.

I shoulda got another cat. 🤦

Ugh... owning a pool is a PIA right and up there with owning a boat.

What's better than owning a pool or a boat? Knowing a friend that owns a pool or a boat.

Kinda miss this guy, RICKAMAVEN (RIP). He would fit right in on many of the discussions and banter we still have going. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

He popped into my brain while doing some house cleaning. On a comment of a picture he posted of his and wife's hummel collection way back when, someone told him that he should dust the shelves.

His reply: (paraphrase) In my house dust is a noun not a verb.

I was lucky enough to herf with Rick at my house, his house, and in Vegas.
