Truly taking the day off.

Regular working Monday and Tuesday. Abused my body (in a non sexual way) on Wednesday assisting a home to home move. Furnace and AC install yesterday (and was sore as hell), got in 12,000 steps.

Coffee and light breakfast now, then a dog walk, then some more coffee, then getting on my bike to ride with a podcast feeding my ears.

If I get all of my work done, cigars at 2:00 is the reward.

Coffee now... short dog walk, physical with the VA at 9am.

Already had my annual physical with Tricare, and signed the paperwork for them to share info. Why the hell do I need to do it again for the VA, you ask? This is gov't (in)efficiency at work.

Farking spent all morning writing up a case study for a cyber security class. Got it all done, all I had to do is cut and paste the write up in into my template for APA format. Change the header, footer, cover page... save, publish to a PDF.

Did all the above only to realize, as I scrolled through the dressed up version, that the cut and paste of the entire document didn't paste... only the first page... and I overwrote the the original draft. The auto save backups are gone too.

Shockingly, with all the crap I got going on right now... my bp was 110/70 this morning.

And my cure for the hot day is to go hang out with Art after the termite guy is done. Beers, cigars, carne asada, and a dip in the pool.

I refuse to offer my local weather forecast (and DED hasn't yet done it). If I don't acknowledge it, maybe it isn't real.

Tank, once again, didn't want to jump in of his own accord, but when I picked him up and walked in with him, he swam around for a bit. He's solid muscle and bone, so he doesn't float well, but he did swin in the deep end a little.

Got tired real fast. Prolly gonna snore tonight... fugger.
