They're learning. They've realized that attacking cars is a war of attrition they'll never win.

Going to be a hot one at the shpo. High temp to be 97 with a heat index of 103. Yesterday wasn't terrible with 94/98.

There was one instance where I got into a car, closed the door and it didn't start right away. Pre-panic attack when I couldn't find the window roll-downer button.

Boss won't be in today. He'll be in Colorado attending a funeral. There was a sportscar rally which left Denver a few days ago and two guys died when their car left the road at a high rate of speed.

The popo estimated they were travelling in excess of 140 mph. Friends who were driving in a car behind told the boss they were going a lot faster than that, when the hit the bump and couldn't stick the landing.

Third day of covid. This is NOT just a cold for me. Wife and son have it too Makes sequestering MUCH easier.

I am on Paxlovid and an inhaler and am improving much aster than my wife and son, who are not taking any antivirals. The drug works fast.

I should feel fine within the next view days.

Phfft! You *****s and your brutal temperatures. It's a great 78 this morning going to 104 here which is below seasonal norms with RH as low as 10%. I would love that all summer long but it won't last long. Expect 112 by the weekend and old Mother Nature has just gotta throw in a few 115+ days soon.

I blew out my back about 25 yrs ago and have had issues with sciatica ever since. When it would flare up it would make my whole leg would go numb all the way down to my toes. It would last weeks. Periodically I'd get a lighting bolt that would shoot down from my pelvis, through the ass cheek to my toes. Buckle over type of pain... Wowzers... take the breath out of you.

I would eat Advil, Aleve, Tylenol like candy when it would flare up. In talking with my primary care Doc about it, he said that was not the best way to go. It would eat my stomach inside out. He prescribed me a low dosage of amitriptyline. I take 25 mg pill 1x/day at night time. Since on it, I haven't had a major flare up. Can't attribute it to the med 100% though, part of the deal is that I'm more cognizant of lifting with the legs and not the back, doing stretchering exercises for my back and so on.

FORE! Uno NINE!

Ever have an EMG to measure the nerve damage, or an MRI to potentially show what's causing the pain?

Amitriptyline is some pretty heavy stuff. Why didn't he try Gabapentin first?

There are many safer drugs, which works real well for many people with sciatica. Chronic meds for pain should come from a pain management doc, IMO.

Oh boy! 🤦

Glad to hear you’re recovering quickly.

Regarding your wife and son - are their symptoms milder than yours and that’s why they’re not taking anything?
