It's an ugly 94 out there @ 4:00 so as soon as I finish my 5 miler we are out of here for cooler places. Supposed to be 114 the next few days and the mountains have been getting daily afternoon thunder storms which sounds inviting.

Overdid it a bit this morning.
Half an hour walking the dog, then onto the bike for over an hour.
28 minutes in the cardio zone. Most I've logged since paying attention to this stuff at the end of May.

Now, I need some slug time.

Gone to the post office. Is it bad when they now know my name when I walk in?

Can't wait to get into the new house so I can start using the clubhouse stuff. Cardio for 30-60 minutes and then jump in the pool. Covered, screened patio will be a great place to smoke a cigar during a rainstorm, too...

Preserve behind the house, so they'll not be building anything back there. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฎ

Good Thursday Morning! It's an overcast 79ยฐ on the way to 89ยฐ today.

Happy notification! A reproduction blunderbuss I ordered 1/24/21 or pre-covid, is arriving tomorrow. Time for some black powder fun, stink, and mess.

Florida real estate terms:

Indeed, sir... I was astute enough to notice these things.

New builder when I was looking at a house that was right on the Trout river... "This goes right into the St Johns, which goes to the ocean. You could build a dock right here."

Me looking at all the sheit I'd have to clear in order to build that dock... "Yeah, nah. Waterfront, if you want to clear 40 yards of woods out of the way."

The cardio was somewhat accidental. Wanted to assure I was in the fat burning zone and got carried away.

When Iโ€™m in the cardio zone, I donโ€™t feel right. My body is screaming at my brainโ€ฆ. You trying to kill me?

My mind laughs.

I need help.

Tank chases anything that moves. More worried about him than me. But I do not think there are gators this far north. I dunno for sure, though.

Edit: Apparently there are, according to a study by North Florida University, 93 of them in the St. Johns tributaries of Jax, but only one adult (larger than 6 feet).

Better be a damn well-constructed cigar with a strong binder or there is a serious risk of cigar cracking/explosion. I kid you not. Beach is always less humid than inland... YMMV
