Good Friday Morning! It's 78° on the way to 97° today. I hope we have more of this clear weather for tomorrow's match.

Today I'm going to prepare my blunderbuss to shoot. It's a copy of an English flintlock blunderbuss from Veteran Arms. It took more than a year to get here between their orders, COVID and getting shipments in from India and other uppliers. India makes an accurate non shooting wall hanger and Veteran Arms rebuilds them into operating black powder arms.

I was taught the fundamentals of marksmanship by Marine Cadre. Staff sergeant Hix. As a marksmanship instructor he said women, and men who never shot before, are easiest to teach. No bad habits to break and they follow instructions.

True, and they are not trying to show off in front of their girlfriend.

Computers, driving, and shooting are things best taught by strangers.

If for no other reason than self-preservation. 😣

Hold up... hold up... Y'all know catfish is freshwater fish, right? And if you're fishing at the beach catching sharks... ya best be near a pond, too. Otherwise that ain't a catfish.

They are real, we used to catch them in the Gulf of Mexico fishing at Matagorda, TX. I was pissed, I'm not a fan of catfish, they ruined a fantastic trout fishing lake out west.

The two types of saltwater catfish that live along the southeast Atlantic and Gulf coasts of North America are the gafftopsail catfish and the hardhead catfish. Both varieties are regularly caught by onshore and inshore anglers, most of whom are actually fishing for more glamorous species.
