I think the MAGA Rats are still fascists - whether they eat clam chowder or not.

We still have guns. Won't be so easy to exterminate anyone while they're armed. Why you think Pedo Joe is trying to disarm the populace?

Don't be so sure. Underneath all the lies he told, your LEFTY dicktator used some pretty forceful fascist rhetoric the other night to match his fascist-looking stage. That's how it always starts.
Like "MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic", “But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.", MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards -- backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love" and “They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country"

Like fascist dicktators of the past, he demonizes his opposition with inflammatory rhetoric and baseless accusations, he projects his own demented authoritarian tendencies on anyone that is against his regime. There's a fine line between now and the grand opening of FEMA concentration camps. I know you'll probably say I'm being hyperbolic and it can't happen here, but so did the victims of 20th European fascism.

Like there isn’t an effort socially, culturally and politically over the last 20 years. Every which way but physically.

Rfenster does your link mirror your feelings? Some yes, some no. Just a good article worthy of discussion of alternate points of view. Do you associate people who assaulted police with everyone there? No. If the feds had plants and encouraged illegal acts how do you feel? If that is true, I would not like it at all. What about people that got let in to the capital building? They still knew they had no business being part of the mob after they crossed a barrier or police line. And "got let in" mostly appears to me to be a euphemism for cops who were retreating or didn't want the risk of further angering the crowds. If you want to lawfully visit congress, there is a way to do it that doesn't involve injuries and damage. You know the guy who literally moved a lectern 20 yards to give a mock speech got 5 years probation? No sympathy.

May I ask how a group of people were going to occupy a building and take over the government? I don't think they were trying to take over the entire government, just keep Cheeto as president or at least impair the electoral college. Acting logistics here how does that work functionally….I’d really love to know that. We’ve already established that not all federal buildings are equal when attacked.

How was that going to overturn the election? And there is video of police opening doors, a judge let multiply people go and removed charges because of this video.

How was that going to overturn the election? Do not know each person's exact plans that day, but I believe they were there to do that if they could. And there is video of police opening doors, a judge let multiply people go and removed charges because of this video. I am OK with that if they did not cross a barrier or police line. Not everyone there was a bad actor, IMO, but many, many, many were, IMO

Did Trump actually say Biden was an “enemy to the state”?

Doesn’t sound like him. He’d end the sentence with “Fatherland”.

He should write a book about his last two years. Not sure what he’d title it. Maybe something like My Struggle.

No Cheeto said the media was the enemy of the people.

But to be fair they both work for the same cause, so there’s that.

I'd say 8TRACK is worried that if he doesn't spread the LEFTY regime message that the "extreme MAGA philosophy" is semi-fascist, even Hitlerian then then Big Brother will let the FBI and the IRS goons loose on him.
