I did it when she was gone, cleaned up and she couldn't even tell. So I then admitted it and she didn't believe me, then I told her how I cleaned up and she was fine with it.

Smoke eater candle lit while smoking and for an hour after, spray Ozium neutralizing spray after, take ashtray outside right after smoking, leave window cracked open for an hour after. You will be able to smell it the next morning, light smoke eater candle again for an hour, spray Ozium neutralizing spray again, and light a good sleeping candle. Smell will be gone.

While smoking is gonna smell obviously, but the stale smell will go away, but for sure don't leave any ash or ashtrays inside. Mine go right into the fire pit outside.
