Steve, that is because Red Vines are not supposed to have the "tradional" liquorice taste! Red Vines are addictive as hell, and I wish you had not mentioned the damn things!

If you want a powerful licorice taste, try the Acid Nasty. I thoroughly enjoyed this widely despised little trumpet, and it tastes exactly like Sen-Sen. If you don't know what Sen-Sen is, well, you say it, Rick.

Did I say Red Vines? I think not!

I said licorice...which connotates BLACK licorice in my mind if you really want to know! '

Hell, red licorice is just high fructose corn syrup and dye waiting for a kid on a saturday at the movie theater...it ain't licorice!

no, you did NOT say Red Vines ... *I* said Red Vines ... I said that not only could I not taste licorice in my cigars, but that I couldn't taste it in Red Vines (which are supposedly some sort of licorice product) ... I meant to imply that there might be something wrong with my taster ...

Which reminds me ... there IS something wrong with my toaster ... the single slice side keeps popping up before the toast is toasted, unless you push the little slide gizzy all the way to the right, in which case, it produces what can only be described as ToastOscuro ... what's up with that?

As an obvious newbie toast maker, it is by rule that all newbie toast makers must send their Oscuro toast to me.
