The stats don’t support this, but it would be a “better game”.
Fill the room with a bunch of fat good ole’ boys gnawing on chicken gizzards and up to their backsides in back bacon, and make an addendum to the current rules!

The Executive Director is Bill Hancock, U of Oklahoma, also a carry-over from the BCS days.

The 2023 President was Boo Corrigan, NC State AD. One would think that if he felt strong enough about FSU, they would have made the playoff.

A review of the committee members bios will reveal that there is one member with SEC ties and at least 2-3 including Corrigan with ACC ties. Doesn’t appear that the deck was stacked in the favor of the SEC.
