Masters of the Air

Didn't know we could use our iPhones or iPads to access Apple TV until our son showed us last night. Watched the first episode last night on our Sony. Like it so far.

Netflix...... FURY
Netflix...... FURY
I probably would have re-watched this or mebbe next week but the new found access to Apple TV put "Fury" on the back burner.

Will Trent on Hulu

Netflix...... AMERICAN ASSASSIN

Waiting on new season of Will Trent

Watched Lupin on Netflix. Three seasons.

Entertaining.

ARKANSAS....NETFLIX

DCI Banks

well into Season 4. Really like it.

^^ Very good series.

Eric Clapton: Standing at the Crossroads on Prime

All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records on Prime

I knew a little of the Russ Solomon / Tower Records story but not a whole lot about the (over)expansion and the downfall. As a former competitor of TR, a part of me was snickering when the bottom fell out but there was also a part of me that was sad to see the overall collapse of the retail record business with TR leading the way.

TAKERS on Prime

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

It Ain’t Over on Netflix

From IMDb:

“An intimate portrait of a misunderstood American icon, this emotional and uplifting documentary about Yogi Berra takes us beyond the caricatures and "Yogisms," and into the heart of a sports legend whose unparalleled accomplishments on the baseball diamond were often overshadowed by his off-the-field persona.—Vanishing Angle”

My favorite Yogism: “Always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours.” 🤣

Who is Erin Carter on Netflix.

Pretty entertaining so far.

Continuing on with baseball themed stuff:

Facing Nolan on Netflix

From IMDb:

“In the world of Major League Baseball no one has created a mythology like Nolan Ryan. Told from the point of view of the hitters who faced him and the teammates who revered him, Facing Nolan is the definitive documentary of a Texas legend.“

Midway through and while I have more respect for Nolan’s career, still don’t feel he’s in my top 2 of all-time greatest pitchers. Mebbe in the general conversation but not when you get down to the very top of the pyramid.

Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives

Netflix

What can you say about this giant in the music industry? An incredible career that started in the mid-60s and is still going!

Alexander - The Making of a God

Netflix

I was a lousy student in my high school Freshmen year so didn’t do too well in World History so I’ll use this series as a refresher course.
