What do you all use to bring a few smokes around town in?

Does anyone have a good little pouch or soft case that can hold 2-4 cigars, a cutter and a lighter without being too bulky? I don't need "pelican case" or herfador rugged, just something to keep everything together if I toss it in my laptop bag, etc.

I saw some nylon "edc" pouches on Amazon, but I don't think I need Molle or a Punisher velcro patch, lol.

For heading out for the night if i am the only one smoking i use a 3 finger style "leather" case. i have a lighter that fits in the case so i take 2 Cigars and the lighter with he cutter in my pocket. If i am going somewhere i think others will partake then i use an Apache 1600 (looks like a pelican) from Harbor Freight and holds 10-20 cigars depending on what you do with the foam. I cut a peace of Spanish Cedar to line the bottom of it as well and it can hold a cutter or 2 and lighters again depending on what you do with he foam. If i am traveling for more then a few days or am going to a large Gathering with many smokers then i use the Drew Estate Dead wood 40 Count Case (also Pelican Style) with the foam it holds 40, without it can hold a lot of cigars.

i also have a cheap little Molle style pouch that was like $10 on Amazon for my lighters, Cutters, bottle opener and can of Butane when traveling (not flying obviously)

I use only Boveda Packs for Humidity. 65s in my travel cases and 67s in my Coolers for storage at home. I use the 40 count as my everyday humi at home and keep it stocked with what i want to smoke over the next few weeks. Things come out of the larger coolers and sit for a bit in the smaller case before being smoked.

I’m going to be traveling a bit soon and will be carrying my smokes in one of those plastic cases (herfidor?)
The case has one of those little built in green things to soak in distilled water, but wouldn’t that maybe over moisturize the cigars? Is tossing a Boveda in there a better option or does it even matter for 2-3 nights?

Never... EVER.... EEEVVVVEEEERRRR use the Green foam... unless your goal is mold... rip it out, NOW... no kidding, GO, RIP IT OUT!!!!!!!! now, i feel better... Boveda is easy... no need to over think it, no mess, little to no risk, and if you are really frugal you can even recharge them (GASP, see many other threads) you need 1 standard pack (60 gram i believe) for every 25 Cigars of CAPACITY (not actual cigars but how many does the case hold) since they are 2 way you can not over humidify however, if in an air tight container the humidity may stay 1-2 % over what the back is, especially if they are in a warmer area. i use 65% packs in Pelican style cases and they are usually spot on 65% or at most 66% i do open it almost every day as i use it for my regular Humi and smoke while working from home most days.

In my coolers i use the large packs which are 320g, in a 50quart cooler i use 3 of these and also tend to have some smaller packs sprinkled in through as well. i use 67s in the coolers and with a Govee BT hygrometer i can monitor temp and Humidity since only open the one cooler about once a month and the other about once every 6 moths. they are usually spot on 67. may go up to 68/69 in the summer when the house is a few degrees warmer but i keep them in the basement which is never above 6 degrees.

You can also get little 8 gram Bovedas which i sometimes use in a 3 finger sleeve or a 5 count travel box but i usually travel with more so i just use the standard pack. the smaller ones are also great when doing trades, pibs etc on this site so you can ship cigars ready to smoke ROTT.

Herfador I have a 5 10 and 15.

I'll throw a boveda in there if im gonna be gone a while.

I have a 2 cigar leather case and a 2 cigar metal case I've used when meeting friends out for drinks. But if im going anywhere and bringing cigars it's usually at least the 5ct herfador. I can forget it in the car overnight and not worry about it like the 2 finger holsters.

Ashton travel humi.
Leather exterior with cedar interior.
Holds 25ish cigars, depending on size, as well as a cutter and Boveda.
Love it

For a couple of days, only a few cigars, I have a leather 4 cigar finger case. Except mine doesn't have fingers, which I like because it doesn't limit your size options. Top slides up and off. It's lined with cedar. I will put them in a ziploc sandwich bag, then put them in the case. Works great. I've had that thing for probably 20 years.

For a week I usually take 2-15 ct. and 10 ct herfador or maybe a 40 ct herfador.with another 1 or 2. I lightly moisten a pillow pack in each one. No problems !

Tony, you can go a week and only smoke 40 cigars? That’s half your normal consumption!
