I don't get along well with the sedation drugs. Learned that when I woke up with a mask on my face and my arms tied down to the bed after the topside scope.

Buttscope I did without sedation. Fairly uncomfortable but no worse than I've done to my GI tract with the foods I eat. Got to go home immediately after since there was no sedation to recover from.

Oh. HHD Ram n dudes.

Good Thursday Morning to All! It's a warmer 54° on the way to 62° today. Today's excitement, a cortisone shot in the hip, installation of a permanent crown and waiting on some packages.

All in all, it was not a terrible experience.
The worst part was getting up at 2am to finish off the 2nd quart of that "witches brew" that you have to drink 9 hours before your procedure.
Bottom line, (no pun intended), I have a healthy colon ! 👍

finally got the exterior Christmas lights up. This will definitely be the last year that we put up the strands of icicle lights...major PITA to replace bulbs as they start to burn out or break...

I put up our outside lights... on our mailbox, you cannot see the house from the street. Two strings of solar LED lights and a bow.

OTOH, our living room is basking in the glow of one billion LED lights on the tree, my wife replace the original lights and ended up installing 2,200 in multiple strings. Decorations take up about a dozen or so large plastic storage boxes. Everything carefully place by the Christmas Queen. She does a great job and loves Christmas, I like January. [frypan]
