I put a $10 bet on Army vs Navy (sorry MACS, I'm going with Army on this one). It's a 4 quarter parlay so Army has to be up by 1.5 pts or more every quarter.

If that happens I get like $110 in return. That will cover some bail money for being busted with some Cuban cigars. My defense is they are all fakes and I bought the glass top humidor full of them in Key West on the beach while tripping on LSD.

Grand daughter's 7th birthday party today...my task is to grill up 4.5 lbs of Korean BBQ short-ribs and have them ready to eat by 12 noon...I used boneless short-rib beef, marinating since Wed night...should be a good addition to the catered Hawaiian food my daughter chose...25+ peeps, including 10-12 adults and at least 15 kids...

Wife made that Cowboy Stew recipe that Bucky posted. She also made cornbread and fried zucchini. I'm really full. A full that I just cant get to by eating junk food on my cheat day.

The zucchini slices were canned from our garden. I was worried that they would be too soggy but they turned out fine. Stew was awesome. Instead of beef we used deer. Other than that she followed the recipe...

Good Saturday Afternoon to All! Back from an ARA match this morning. I ended up second, the SC State Champion was first. Mrs. Gene struggled with her first target and came in tenth.

I'll get over it if you both send me $20 for monetary and emotional distress.

Got another $5 on Navy to win and $5 on the over of 40.5 points.

I also put down $20 that says none of the Cbidders will take the the trash out for me. Pretty sure I'll win that one. Then again, when I take out the trash do I lose the bet? Damn... I should think this through before placing any bets.

When did you start wagering on sports?
Seems to be a relatively recent hobby?

Have a partner in crime we underwrite each others $1 bets and then settle up once ever 3 or 4 weeks.

Just the past few weeks with online bets via FanDuel.

My largest bet was $10 on Army for the Army vs Navy game today. I lost $10. I have deep pockets and I'm a big spender. 🤥

Mostly win a couple bucks here, lose a couple bucks there. I think my biggest winning was like $80 on a $5 bet random bet.

Net winnings is about $50 so I'm on the positive side playing with house money. Bet $5 win $8. Bet $5 lose $5. Nothing to write home about or retire on. I just do it for fun when I'm bored and watching sports.

I'll bet $5 that Gene can't plug me with a paintball gun. Since he lives a couple time zones away, that's one bet I can win.

In Sconnie, we are limited to daily fantasy. I'm kind of a big deal- I get into anywhere from 5-10 contests a day on DraftKings. I should leave it there.

Sounds slightly less baller to mention they are usually 10 cent buy ins.
