Beats your AC crapping out at 7pm last night. Fortunately it isn't running much this time of year. Thermostat went blank. Went to Home Depot and got a new one, changed it... no go.

AC dude came today and checked all the wiring. Blown fuse... thermostat still good. Checked to see WHY the fuse blew and found 2 bad wires. Fortunately that bundle of wires has 8 and they only use 6 of them. Red/orange bad. Swapped for brown/black. Working now.

$247 poorer, but I did get to return the $83 thermostat I didn't need. So I got that going for me... which is nice.

Busted some wood this evening. That's a tough job.

I'm just now getting into the rounds from my wood pile, from the trees I cut last February & March.

All of our campfires, this last year, have been nothing but branches and debris-- other than a few rounds I split for a camping trip.
