Oh man !!!
swishers????
too rich for my blood!!!
i was thinking more on the line of blunts , they come in a variety of facinating flavors !!
and thier so versitile !!! with a couple different uses!!

Great...that's 5 of us that agree on 11 sticks and winner sends 25 to second place !

boy-o-boy does that make me wonder................
now second place..............
they still send the winner 11 sticks............
but when the winner sends them the 25 , it has to be totally different ( don't want to return what they sent do ya)?

Oh i'm getting a headache.................
this was so easy when i was originally thinking it up.
hahaha....oh-man!

'dup - in previous pools, 2nd place would get 20% of the winnings, and not have to send anything to 1st place . . . . It's your pool, and you should have final say on the rules, but I'd suggest that 2nd place doesn't have to pay out . . . Sending cigars would only serve to detract from winning anything . . . .

Also, a couple other points - Get everyone's email addresse's and keep folks updated via email during the chase . . . 2 months is a long time to keep track of everyone on Cbid, and by the time the chase ends, you may not be hearing from some folks again . . . . I can vouch for Gonesledn & Eric, as they have played in my pools before . . . .

Another thing, is to try to round up everyones mailing addresss ahead of time - it's much easier to have the winners address ready, and you can just email it to everyone immediately following Homestead . . . then, just periodically check with the winner to make sure everyone's been sending their packages to him . . .

Obviously, communication is a big key to making these run smoothly . . . . .

Shoot me an email when you get a chance . . .

Good job on the pool, thanks for setting it up . . . .

. . . But, I still think Jimmy Spencer will win it all . . . .

Man!!!!

just when the ibuprophine was kicking in!!!

lol!!!

..............i'm think'n.............................
(new to the boards, first try at this pool thing ,low on ibuprophine).......................................

so "don't" send 11 sticks to the winner ???

send 8 to the winner and 3 to the second place winner?

and second place doesn't send anything??
or does second place send 8 to the winner and the winner send the second place winner 3 ????

making this sound harder than it is aren't i???

i mean i don't want to upset any players but it made more sense and easier on shipping charges (hate to sound cheap) if "all 11" were sent to the winner.
then after it was suggested (which sounded good) second place would recieve 25 sticks

yeah....i'll shoot ya an email!!!
lol

I like your first Idea.

11 to the winner and he sends 25 to 2nd place

Saves effort and postage for all non winners

exactly !!! dadank73

that's what i'm thinking !!!

instead of sending 2 pkgs you only send one !!

and i was thinking.....it would only work out to 99.....but hey!! i'll send 12 just to make it an even 100 !!

*****Listen up******

I know i thought this up and started it but it's a group effort and a group pool.

since i don't want anyone upset or "put-out" by changing anything....we "ALL" should agree on this!!

i'm sorry i just tossed it out and it's changed a bit... but i do kinda like the second place idea !

so all of us need to sound off on this to seal the details in stone

as i said i don't want to ruffle any feathers here since i'm new!
i just wanted to get with some other nascar people here and have a little friendly competition among friends !! this is tougher than this newbie thought it was going to be!!!

Phukdup,

Sounds good to me! BTW not really a Rusty fan. He (as you said) has too big a mouth. I would justlike to see one of the "old guys" win. And, since it looks like Martin will be around next year, I had to pick Mr. Wallace.

2. Rusty Wallace 5355 - erkwgz

3. Ryan Newman 5350 - gonesledn

4. Mark Martin 5341 - phukdup

5. Tony Stewart 5339 - dadank73

6. Greg Biffle 5339 - Seth Gekko

7. Jeremy Mayfield 5281 - tatoodad13

8. Carl Edwards 5259 - "OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WANT'S TO JOIN US"

9. Matt Kenseth 5238 - kdotline

10. Kurt Busch 5192 - nessundorma

Ok,
I guess this is the way it is set up !!!

Everyone has a driver

When the "CHAMPION" is anounced , all others will send the winner 11 decent mid-range cigars..( or more if they wish )...along with a congrat's card for second place winner

The champion / winner will then take out of the 100 cigars 25 good ones!! and place the congrat's cards from all others in a pkg to be sent to the second place winner

That's still 75 to the "CHAMPION" and 25 to the runner-up !!

This is it.... and if you still are willing to and want to stay in......email me your snailer ! and i'll put-em in a file for later!!
phukduphere at yahoo dot com

I will be setting up the new thread for our

"2005 CHAMPIONSHIP TRADE"

very soon so we can get on with this !

These guidlines are going to be set once i start the new thread .

no ill feelings if anyone wants to "opt-out" since it's changed a bit !!
I do hope everyone stay's as it'll still be a great championship run for all !!!

****even though Mark Martin is coming back next year..........he deserves this !!!*****
