I would have replied sooner but I've been either herfing here in New York City or partying up and partying down for my birthday! It's still going on!

And boy, do these initial bombs take my breath away. The Unknown Collector roughed me up good with 11 choice sticks. From the Rocky Patel Sungrown to the K. Hansotia Triple Ligero (which I've never tried) to the Gurkha Maduro to the Montecristo, it's a smorgasbord of superb sticks!

Hunter1127 sent me a nice fiver of cigars I really like, such as Perdomo (squared) and Onyx. I look forward to trying the Slow Aged and Don Tomas. Thanks, brother!

Those two packages arrived on Wednesday. Yesterday I withstood detonation from rugrunner. Phew! Does this man know what I like! Bolivar Fuerte, Rocky Patel Vintage 1990, La Flor Dominicana (special thanks for that), CAO Italia (been craving that), LGC Serie R and Edge by Rocky Patel are only some of the magnificent sticks in this collection. To think he's bombing me again? It's an embarrassment of riches!

Thanks all, you're making this a very memorable birthday.

Blasted back to the Stone Age!

Today's Bomb Club assortment comes from cgully, moonman and erkwgz...

Chris sent me an awesome sampler featuring two Monte's, a CAO Italia (yes!), RyJ, and a bunch of other great stuff. I just realized today two people in this club are from St. Cloud, Minnesota! How interesting ... is that a big city?

Moonman sent me into orbit (yes, pun intended!) with his fantabulous array of Rocky Patel's Edge and Sun Grown, Bucanero Salsa, Sancho Panza and a very fine Fuente Gran Reserva. Bravo!

Erik sent me the most unique sticks so far: when you get past the delectable Monte's and Gurkhas, he really spoiled me with his CAO selection. There's a Cx2, a Brazilia, and then the two I've only dared to dream about -- a CAO Palms Super Bowl Sunday edition and a CAO Odyssey! Oooohrah!

Oh, and uh, he threw in my first Graycliff too, just for good measure. Not too shabby, eh?

Not to complain about praise, but, did you miss the pineapple white owl I sent you? Swishers might be in the next one... (c;

After that Bombazz assortment of cigars you sent me I thought I needed to return fire in kind. Hope you had a great b-day A.J. and I hope you liked the smokes.

Wennerman targets me in the crosshairs and a Devildog is indeed burning!

Twelve gorgeous sticks featuring Onyx, CAO Italia and Brazilia, and an El Rey del Mundo Robusto Larga (great choice). It's my first time for the Park Avenue by K. Hansotia or a Bolivar in the glass tube. Thanks brother, and thanks again to all Bomb Club members so far!

Oh, and rugrunner, that White Owl has been decontaminated, but it's the thought that counts!

LOL I guess there goes the myth of New York as the cultural capital of the USA. No accounting for taste or the lack there of. (c;

What, rugrunner, no Swisher in your bomb? I'm saddened. But the rest of Rugrunner, Part Deux did not disappoint with his ten pack. A bunch of fine Toranos, Perdomos and speckled with a Gurkha and Bauza made it very interesting.

Da Chief, what are you, from Da Bronx or somethin' with that name? Da Chief gave Da Cuesta Rey, Da CAO Brazilia, Da K. Hansotia made this sixer very da cool. (OK, enough with the Da's here). 🙂

Thanks as always!
