I agree 50 is just fine.

I typically smoke 50 ringers and up, but the biggest I smoked was a 70 ring gauge. It was well huge, and don't think I'll go over a 60. The 70 just was just so big. I think the fact that it was a poorly wrapped Bohemian white had something to do with it. I could hardly get a mouth of smoke from it.

As a rule, I find my preference is for cigars between 48 and 60 gauge ... 52s and 54s are my principal choices ... only a very few choices go as low as a 42 and virtually none smaller than that ... the 42s and 44s are good as "quickies" at lunchtime or other times I have limited time ...

You know what's funny? I made this post just the other day, and today I went to the CA website, and they have an article on there about large ring cigars. I thought that was wierd.

I do enjoy those Serie R #6s. Have yet to try anything bigger. I am eyeing those Cuban Parejos, though...
