Good point, I'm an independent too.

I voted for Regan, Regan, Bush, Bush, Dole, Bush.

But I'm not a republican, I’ve just vote republican...
To actually call me a republican just because I’ve voted
republican would be intellectually vapid…

I Own Guns.

I Make too much money and like lower taxes because I think they
stimulate the economy.

I Only have 1 kid after planning for him.

I Support the military.

I Don't believe the government does a very
good job educating our children.

I Am a Christian.

I Believe people should be judged based on the
content of their character and quotas are immoral.

I Think the caribou can deal with a pipeline.

I Believe in adoption over other less savory options.

But I'm not a republican, I'm an Independent...
You buyin any of this? I said it, so it must be true Right?
I wouldn’t tell you I was an Independent if it wasn’t true, would I?
(hair lip)

I'm not a republican, or even a conservative,
I'm an independent. I have you fooled now right?
You're right where I want you. Watch the watch...
You're getting sleeeeepy.

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Robby - The funny thing is I agree on most of the stuff you mentioned, so does that make me a republican now??

The only things I feel differently on from your list are as follows...

I'm not Christian

I believe in adoption for myself, but I'm pro-choice so that others can choose for themselves.

I didn't vote for the same people.

Some things you did't mention that we probably agree on are..

I think the environmetal lobby is more anti-corporation than they are pro-earth. Especially since most of them make up problems to protest against, instead of having actual data.

I think the government has too much power over our personal lives and our businesses.

Like I said I'm independent, for some reason you can't accept that, but I don't really care anymore...

Great, so I guess we could overlook Gore, as long as you didn't vote for Clinton. you didn't vote for Clinton, and then Gore and still sing the Independent mantra, did you? I was born at night, but...

Chris, many of your position are fine! There is hope.

Now, lets see you debate some of these ridiculous posts by the liberals you claim to be unafilliated with. Nothing personal. :>)

At the end of the day the issues are most important to me, the categorization doesn't mean much.

Mag - I have disagreed with the lefties in the past, it just all depends on the issue, I think we focus on the same issues over and over on this board.

Robby - sometimes it seems like you were born tonight, not even last night. But other times you actually seem like a decent reasonable guy. I think it's just a matter of what type of reaction your trying to get, and how much you've had to drink...

hehehe, hey! you're catching on!

So I'll take that as,

1. Yes I voted for Clinton (probably both times!)
2. And Yes, I voted for Gore

But I'm Independent, really I am.

Did you know, on a sub, if you wet the bed, that won't get you
thrown off the boat, but if you wet the bed and THEN
hide the sheets, they'll toss you off in a heartbeat...

(stop hiding the sheets)

I caught on a while ago, give me a little more credit than that.

Are you drinking at work now? I think you need a program or something...

Well alrighty then! We've established that;

1. You're NOT a Democrat or even a liberal.
2. You did vote for Gore.
3. You did vote for Clinton.
4. You'll vote for whoever runs against Bush in 04
and will even stoop so low as to vote for Dashole or
Kerry. You’d probably even vote for Sharpton over Bush!!
Albeit with a perfectly rational(ization) explanation…
5. Repeat steps 1-4.

It is said that no man ever stands so tall as when he stoops
To help a child. I say that no man ever stoops so low as
When he wets the bed and hides the sheets (figuratively)

Roger that, and I believe it all too! I'll be going to get
my wife's "I'm with Stupid" tee shirt now. Talk to you
later :o)

My last line was a joke, not meant to offend!

Here are the facts:
I'm liberal on some things and conservative on others, I voted for Clinton and Gore, as for 04 it all depends on who runs on the Dem and third party tickets. I'll pick the candidate that best represents my politics from ALL of the available candidates. Bush has a much better chance of getting my vote than he did in 00, eventhough I don't particularily like all of his politics. I think he has a good staff and has not made too many desicions that I oppose.
