in keeping with the "perfume discussion", a discussion i never heard in my life from any gathering of men or women or both.

for the record, most of these are astringents and burn the raw flesh. an after shave cream like "kanon" is more soothing and you will still smell pretty.

anyone care to discuss under arm deodorant?

What ever the wife buys is fine. Actually don't know what it is. And for the record I'm a folder and not a crumpler.

I use that rock thingie. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's a mineral they mine right out of the ground. All they do is shape it. You wet it and rub it on the pitts and viola. Other products give me problems.

Corn Cobs and the Sears Catalog are good old stand-bys.

A bay leaf under the arm according to George Carlin works too.

Rick, I'm glad to see that you are expanding your horizons and at least have an openmind regarding my cologne/parfum thread so as to bring up your own discussion of toilet paper...

Thanks for bringing it to MY attention...this is a subject that I'VE never heard discussed among anyone...

I thought I'd see some pinecones and dried leaves along with the proverbial corncobs here...I much prefer not to discuss such topics...narrowminded, I guess...but if you insist...

BTW, I like parfum vs. eau de toilet (how's that for a segue?) spray or other alcohol based perfumes...

I like two-ply and not picky on the brand... after so many years in the military coming across a roll of two-ply makes for a good day... every roll I've ever seen in the many country's who even have toilets or paper... it's always the one-ply and sometimes the finger wave while whipping...

now think about this one... the Military always purchases their toilet paper from the lighthouse for the blind... how the hell do they know for sure there are 240 sheets to a roll?

actually it is a subject of minimum discussion when i am in vegas. i always use a toilet in any hotel toby and i walk through, either to gamble a little or to see what the new hotel is like. since we go regularly every three months and spend two weeks there, we have time, not only to wander and wonder, visit the new hotels that they build for us so we are not bored by the same old stuff, but time enough to find the only pizza place in vegas that makes good old new york white pizza, the bakery that makes cannolis, the fast food place that imports it's meat from the bronx and makes matzoh ball soup with matzoh balls made with seltzer so they expand in cooking to the size of tennis balls and taste like eating a jewish cloud, the place that makes nathan's criss-cross fries, a place to sit at any time under the freemont street experience and watch the shows, and a very nice little town, green valley, 20 minutes outside of vegas proper that has a palace station that is like vegas was 20 years ago. machines that do pay a little, dealers that speak english and chat with the players.

most hotels are facades, designed to draw you to them, like a hooker with a skimpy outfit. only the bellagio has the nerve to charge $10.00 for a short stack and $15.00 for bacon and eggs. only at arizona charlie's can you find fixodent in the gift and sundry shop, or watch a spouse give her mate a shot of insulin while they are playing slots, AC is for the older locals in vegas. 90 % of the parking lot is for handicapped parking.

back to the toilet paper. a hotel with any kind of class, uses two ply soft paper. the mind set of the owners of a classless hotel,is get the money as fast as possible. skip where you can. cut the drinks, spin the roulete wheel 15 times an hour instead of the normal 13. single deck blackjack at the $25.00 table only, and use the cheapest toilet paper possible.

the difference between a hooker with or without clean underwear.

when toby and i cruised alaska on the holland america line, there were warm towels in all the public rest rooms. none of the othr lines we cruised thought about that. that is class.

The best I've found is Charmin Plus with aloe. It came very highly recommended from a friend's client - a gay men's association. If anyone would know TP, I would think they would. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Don't need toilet paper if you have a Bad Frog. Works great and cheaper than Charman. You can even smoke them later--the flavor doesn't change. That's why people in the know always keep a box (or 50 boxes) of Bad Frogs in the bathroom.
