Mag, thanks for the pic. This is a nice gesture for all of our moms. It's my wife's first mother's day. We're going over to her folks to celibrate with the baby. Hope everyone has a nice one, and try to do something special for mom.

Both my mother and mother in law have passed away. We have a few friends in the same situation, so we all got together Friday night and celebrated the memories of our mothers.

I had a wonderful day...

Mike and our kids made a yummy breakfast for me. We enjoyed it on the patio. The weather couldn't have been nicer.

Then, our daughter had to go to work and our son wanted to play at a friend's house, so Mike and I took off...

We cruised down to Old Town and ate again. Walked around a bit (tourist season is in full swing) and somehow ended up at our fav cigar bar (imagine that!) where we spent about 3 1/2 hours. I enjoyed a Gurkha from Robby, a AF Hemi Classis (or Signature? Which is longer?), and a C.A.O. Moontrance that Bruce handed to me...then off to an incredeble Italian restautant in Pacific Beach called Caffe Bella Italia...mmm, mmm, mmmmmmm!!!

Basically, I smoked cigars and ate all day long...it was great!

Mag - I know you said before but I can't remember. What kind of camera did you use to take this pictures? The close ups are unreal!

Thanks for the complement. The camera is an Epson Z3000. I love this one. It takes super pictures. I highly recommend it.

Yes, I am a mother of 6 children. 3 of my own and 3 stepchildren. Ages range from 20 to 14 years of age. I only have one left at home. My mothers day was great. Russ took me to Virginia to pick up our puppy and I took my 18 year old son and my 14 year old daughter with us. We just wish we could have had more time to enjoy the trip.

Your roses are beautiful. I haven't had the time to get in my yard to replant my flowers. Working 16 to 18 hours a day.....just don't leave time for much gardening.
