I've been patiently waiting for the shipment of Padron 1926 at my local shop since last fall. I now have 2 of the #6 reserved. At $18 each I probably won't be seeing many. I know they have mixed reviews, mostly because of price, but I'm a Padron kind of guy. I paid $20 and $25 for a couple of the Milleniums and still have one. A long wait for the next release of those babies.

Picked up one last week at the local shop...guy said he had not had a box in who knows how long...picked up a #9...dont even want to say how much i paid...

Don't die with a good cigar left in the humidor or a hundred thou in the bank.

I share the sentiments, both of them: smoke 'em while you got them, age them until their ready.

Can you have your cake and eat it too? Sure. Do like I do and WAY overspend. That way you have to age. There just aren't enough lungs in the house to herf my stash away.

That said, hey, the 26 series is ready to smoke right away. The tobacco and cigar are already aged nicely. Just make sure to adjust them to a humidity you like. Smoked one too damp and am still kicking myself.

I had a '26 #6 natural about two months ago from a local shop here. Paid $14/stick for two. They are incredible as you will see. I also can't wait to try some of the maddie '26s docrks sent me. That #6 natural was quite full-bodied and tasty. Enjoy!

Mr. Mean will be down here next month at Galveston. I'm thinking of getting 3, 1 for now and save the other 2 when Meannie gets here. Too bad you're not availble jd1, Padron 1926 while fishing West Bay sound good to you?

Excellent cigar, but for about $2-$3 more per stick you can have a PAM or PAN. When displayed side by side I'll go for the PAM every time.

Barry you are going to make this grown man cry! Dammit you know how I crave walking/drifting the bays and surf. After those last pics, I had to go cry in my cigar and koolaid!

I would love more than you know to be there with ya; so just tell me when and I'll fire up my 1926; take out my rod/reel and "air cast" with it...

THL, I used to think the same thing. I used to think you could just age a PAM/PAN an extra 8 months and although it is very good and comes close, it just can't touch the '26. The '26 is a more fuller-bodied blend and uses a slightly higher quality wrapper and is aged longer.

jd1, I've got some of the 1926's if you've got the PAM's. I think I've got 4 of them.

My local shop seems to be having trouble getting thier Padrons as of late. They used to have at least 4 different boxes of the Annies at any time. Now they're lucky to have a decent selection of the regulars. I'm hoping they'll get some of the Annies along with the 1926. I down to one lonely Pyramid Maduro and a well preserved Millenium.
