Anyone else have trouble with the burn and construction on these? I've had two thus far, and both have smoked terribly due to extremely uneven burn. The first one I smoked right after receiving and attributed the bad burn to too much moisture. Had the second one after a couple months in the humi (and to all appearances seemed nicely aged). This one became uneven early on and was completely unsmokable part way down due to about a two-inch canoe from what appeared to be a construction flaw (the filler wasn't bunched evenly). This all seems a pity, because the other Indian Tabac lines I've tried have been impressive in both flavor and construction. While I have seen a tendency for such really big ring-gauge cigars to burn a bit unevenly, the Gorillas have so far been just awful. I'm wondering if others have had similar experiences or if my few are simply jinxed.

I've had the exact same experiences with all of the Indian products other than the Fuerte but especially the 4 gorillas I've smoked. Terrible burn problems. I've 2 or 3 or each to be sure. It's a shame.

Great cigars. Kinda like a two for one.

You get to smoke one side at a time.

I tried my first one last week, and had no problems at all. I was very impressed with it.

I think age matters with an IT. Let 'em sit a good while.

I've smoked several of these and really like them. Haven't really had any problems with the burn. I light the hell out of a 'gar that big and the humidor I use out of is about 68%. Long term storage humidor is about 70%. Have had my youngest about 2 months and one smoked fine over the weekend.

I bought a 5 pack some months back. Aged them a bit. Conditions close to ideal. THEY ALL BLEW UP! Fell apart never got to finish any of them. Very dissapointed in the construction and they burned horribly.

Oh, and I didnt care for the taste before they blew up either.

I've taken a real liking to these cigars. have had about 50 of them aging. smoke them from time to time. Once n a while I get a bad one. Don't give up. They age well and are still a good smoke.

The older the Indian, the better the smoke....let em rest for about 6 to 8 months, otherwise, you will continue to get crappy burn.

Unless you got a head the size of a watermelon, it's a waste of time.
