Is "learnt" really a word?

It's a word. I had a friend from India who liked to use it. Rick, do you believe that we have "Up to 3,000 Iraqis - some of them civilians - believed to be gagged, bound, hooded and beaten at US camps close to Baghdad airport"?

They start their day with a yawn, (but no one can see it, because of the gag and the hood). How exactly do these 3000 people eat? Does someone come by and de-hood, de-gag them, then kick them in the back pushing them face first in to a trough of slop (probably containing pork products) for their breakfast? And then re-gag, and re-hood all 3000 of them? Or in Rick's world, do we starve them as well as gag, hood, and beat them?

I'm just curious about the logistics of how this works. I mean with a half a dozen or so, not too much of a problem (logistically). But how does this work with 3,000 (intellectuals question). Also, noticed that this was sourced from the UK. Weren't their people/sources in the UK that were saying we were loosing the war, right up to the end? Kinda like "Baghdad Bob?"

Hey, speaking of media sources, have you seen that picture of the Alien who meets with the Presidential candidates? How do they know who’s going to win?? Are they controlling our elections? I think this issue may be the REAL bombshell of the 21st century.

I have nothing against the grays or their gray bars, or even African Grays. I also have nothing against our detaining people who are tied to or suspected of terrorist, guerilla, or other surreptitious and negative activity. As far as I'm concerned, it's like sausage. I like to eat it, but you don't want to see them making it. Do we (you and me and the public at large) need to know every detail down to the “the “militia minutia” what our military is doing to defeat the enemy? I think it's counter productive. No doubt there’s a few things going on that are probably not all together kosher. I don’t give a rat’s ass. That’s not to say I support us acting like Jack Booted Storm Trooping “thugs”, but based on the embedded reporting and everything I’ve seen and heard, this kind of wholesale bad behavior simply did not happen.
