4. Author: donutboy2000

C&P is not plagiarizing, it's simply passing on things of interest.

It is someone else's work, not yours. If you give the citation, you are home free. Otherwise, it appears that you are trying to present someone else's work as your own.

Yeah it's someone elses work alright, and those who wrote it are individually named and credited here.

Printing history is not plagerey.

No Donuts for YOU!

gotta agree with jack on post #7--the original "author" is quoted...whoever re-typed it deserves little credit. no one thought jack sought out these quotes. in other cases, donut, i agree, annotation is most helpful.

Winston Churchill was the absolute master of the classy insult. I'm surprised that these two didn't make the list:

Lady Astor: "Winston, you're drunk".

Winston: "But I shall be sober in the morning and you, madam, will still be ugly. "

-------

Lady Astor (first woman MP in the House of Commons): "Mr Churchill, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your tea."

Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."
