Anyone leave cigars in the zip lock bag in their coolador? I've got a few I left in for no particular reason. They seemed to dry out a bit. Anyone else notice this?

Doesn't seem like a good idea.

If they are drying out, your humidity is off. It makes no difference if your cigars are loose, in a box with the lid cracked open, or in an open baggie. If they have contact with properly humidified air inside the humidor they will be fine. IMO

They need to breathe periodically.

remove them or at least open them up. Plastic is not pourous and won't allow humidity in or out.

It's ok to wear plastic clothes as long as you keep your zipper open.

I have a small coolerdor that I keep 5packs I've won. What I do is leave them open and put cedar sleeves intermittently along with a humidifier. Works fine for me. X
