This is cool. Last night, I was surfing the web, and was on one of the local news channel's website. They had a link to sign up for 2 free tickets to see Matchbox 20 on July 6. I'll be damned if I didn't win! What a welcome home present.

Congrats on winning. I don't know what the odds were, but I'm sure they were long.

I saw them a year or two ago. Great music, but the show was lame. Rob basically stood in the middle of the stage and sang. I could have saved time by just listening to the album. Sh*t, I'm showing my age, I mean CD. I hope they've upgraded their show a bit.

well, at least I didn't have to pay for it. LOL

Fortunately, I didn't either. On the brighter side, their music is great, so I expect that you'll be having a good time.

It'll give my wife and I some time to spend together. We need it.

You were right. The "show" wasn't that spectacular, however, the music more than made up for it. The show started with American Hi-Fi doing a 30 minute set, followed by Sugar Ray. They actually had the best stage presence, and put on a pretty good show. This was the last show of the tour, so there were some shenanigans going on. It was pretty cool. When Matchbox 20 took the stage, I was expecting the average 1 hour set. Guess not!! Rob and his boys did a complete 2 hour set. I was quite impressed. There was nothing but great music all night long. You can't beat 2 FREE tickets for this show. It was indeed a great time.

could have done without seeing the guys from Sugar Ray come out during Matchbox 20's set in G-strings......it was pretty funny, though.

Went and saw Bon Jovi on Friday night. What an awesome show. One of the best I've ever seen, I'm 43 years old so I've seen many. A friend of ours has a box at the Tweeter center outside of Chicago and they took us as their guests.

I would highly recommend seeing these guys if you can.
