Okay I'm in trouble now. Got a little carried away and bid on the gurkha royal salute turbos and won. My wife thinks a box of cigars shouldn't cost more than $50.00. Wait till she sees the bill for just 5 sticks. I guess I'll be smokin em in the dog house.

Been enjoying all the other Gurks. Hope there worth it.

check cigars international website to get an idea what you can buy the cigars for without using the auction.. sometimes new members pay more on auction.

Rick speaks wisely. I shop the best price and set a limit of typically 60%.
She will get over it, you may have to do some preemptive honey do's - LOL

My wife used to think the same way until I started smoking the "good stuff". (A. Fuente's) Then she started smoking too.

I used to have to keep the cost to $1 a stick. Now she doesn't even want those cigars around. You get what you pay for.. unless you bought those matches for $100.

Always do your research and you can easily justify your savings to the wife (or husband if the case fits). They understand about saving money.

CI did'nt have a price for the Royal Salutes. I did a search on google and the few sites I found wanted upwards of $25.00 a stick to $500.00+ a box. I bid $50.00 on a 5 pack -ten bucks a stick. Figured I didn't have a chance to win. My wife will not appreciate the savings - She will just say "..$50 for five cigars !" yada yaday yadad...

At least I'm in good company.
