WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush on Wednesday challenged militants who have been killing and injuring U.S. forces in Iraq, saying "bring them on" because American forces were tough enough to deal with their attacks.

"There are some who feel like that conditions are such that they can attack us there," Bush told reporters at the White House. "My answer is bring them on. We have the force necessary to deal with the situation."

tell that to the loved one's of the guys getting killed every day, tough guy.

Perhaps the parents better read the oath their children are swearing to!

"Uphold to defend the Constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic."

I rememeber that line when I raised my hand still! It's a fact that when combat starts somebody is going to die.

"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other **** die for his."- General George Patton (1885-1945)

He was serving in the Air National Guard in Texas...

and If I remember correctly he did "Volinteer to go"??

where the hell was you at Rick? Oh NM I remember you were working as a clerk where you had access to guys medical records and when someone pissed you off you shipped their records far off to some other location from where they were headed... ever wonder how many poor GI's you may have maimed or Killed throughout the years by your childish actions back when you searved so Diligently? some of those guys probably never got their records back and or straightened out because of You... on behalf of them I wanna Say Thanks Rick!!!
glad to see they gave you an Honorable through it all... and to listen to you complain about how many Iraqis were killed and or our Own... I signed that Oath the Docs talkin about and I would and have put my life on the line for my Country and fellow Countrymen/women ... Now I got a Rick jackin with my medical records like a "dejavue"

back the hell off Bush and stick to what you know and people can like you for!!! don't bring up military issues because you don't know squat about it!!!!

first w was awol for over a year.

second, he never volunteered for anything except perhaps to buy a round or an eighth.

third, i never screwed with any ones records unless he was at least a captain, (where you a captain?) and he had to earn his extra shots because his repution among the enlisted men said he was a #1 prick.

i presume you served in combat during viet nam, and i'm glad you returned, hopefully with all the pieces. a guy i hung around with for a couple of years back in 84 had served 3 tours. he drove his harley, did his business, and never faulted me for my views. i know he served hard, because i saw the scars.

i don't post stuff about bush to be liked. i do it to provoke response either negative or positive, i don't care, i just like to make you think. not like i do, but the way you do. maybe a small light goes on in one of our brains.

you waste your responses by saying something negative about me. you forget, i am not interested in a stranger's opinion about me. i aleady know about mefirst hand.

did you find the plans and picture i posted about making church bell sounding chimes, interesting and complete if you had an in clination to make a set.

did you find the list of my favorite movies and my offer to dup them for anyone of any interest to you.

i guess your hot button is bush. did you know that a study has been done, and 92% of the people that think bush is smart, do so because he is smarter then they are.

What kind of an answer would you expect the commander in chief to give? Something like, "please dont, we are afraid of you, ok, we're going to leave".

Give me a break, we MUST stick to the plan now, weve come this far, what do you expect GW to do or say now? Do you think at this point we should leave Rick?

If we give the impression that we ARENT going to kill every one of their freakin a$$es, their confidence will build and they will attack even more. Just my opinion.

do you really think the bad guys in iraq are watching tv to see w move his lips.

the phrase was pure proopaganda (i made a funny).

he could have said

we will seek them out and destroy them. (been done)

we will not rest until we have rooted out the decay.
(too much metaphor for w)

i will personally go there and encourge our fighting men. (too eisenhower-ish.)

i'll be watching the battle
through very thick glasses
and i will remember
to have someone remember
to take the lens covers off. (not bad rick, you have the cadence down pat. a short phrase, a pause to recover, another short phrase, a pause for audience reaction, and finally the last phrase without smirking but with a firm determination look on my vapid face.

bring it on (too much arnold s.)

Yes Rick, I do believe that the few rich bad guys that may help finance these thugs, do see what GW says on satalite dish. I'm just guessing at this, but its not a far out possibility.

i suspect you are correct, i hadn't thought of that. and perhaps they filter the violence down through the next level down and then to the street troops. good point.

Rick, do you believe that Winston Churchill was "acting like Arnold" when he told his people, "never quit, never give in"? We shall fight them on the beaches, we shall fight them in the streets, etc.... He rallied his people, he gave them encouragement, he was a light in a time of darkness... He had his detractors too.

Hey Rick
Have a nice July 4th.
Our sons and daughters in uniform wish you the best and give you their best.

Why do you feel the need to put a match to fire? You know what happens when you bad mouth the Commander and Chief. You fire up Hog and Robby and several others so why do it. Do you like the attention? We are not stupid we see what is happening over in the Iraq. We do not need another ultra liberal randition of it we have NBC CBS and ABC not to mention all Turner all the Time CNN. Positive feed back is nice some times Rick give it a try.

Rick -

... just which side are you on ?

- I certainly wouldn't tell my Doctor "how to" perform any surgery on me ....

- how about cutting the rest of us (some of us) a break here and let us do our job without the aggravation of feeling like what we do isn't appreciated?

USAHog made a few VERY good points ...

- only question I have for you Rick is ....

... at what point would YOU actually take and bear arms to defend this country, our people, our children?

- face it - if some jackass is holding you hostage with BIO/CHEM weapons - tell me what you would do?

are you in the military now and serving in iraq? if you are, i wish you the best and the safest. and if you are, i will be happy to know you are home safe and sound and i would consider it my pleasure to sit you down in the patio, bring you a cold one, and open my best humidor for you.

as for usahog, i didn't see any good points in his rant against me.

"at what point would YOU actually take and bear arms to defend this country, our people, our children?"

when a threat existed, not the lies and bull crap spewing from the white house and it's chickenhawks.
we went there to destroy the WMD'S that don't exist, and according to our own intelligence, never did.

if you want to follow the pied piper and walk off a cliff, don't expect anyone to hold your hand.

i think our differences are that you see w in a magnificent garment, i see him naked.
