I just bought some Kelner Seconds here and got one of the smaller CI Smiley Humidors. On a whim, I emptied the humidor, added two AVO Petit Belicosa, five La Perla Habana and 3 Griffins. I then put in a small container of cognac.

Does this work. Over the next six months, will the cognac permeate the humidor and cigars? I'm anxious to see what happens as they age. Have I just ruined my cigars??? Any comments??

I have always had great results with the following:

1. Light a really good cigar.
2. Pour and start to sip an excellent cognac (at least VSOP or XO)
3. ENJOY !!!!

I've enjoyed some of the La Diva line. They are cognac infused and not bad at all...

A guy I know goes to OK every once in awhile and buys from a local place near where he used to live (now lives in OH). The owner has a spray bottle filled with cognac and sprays the end of his better cigars when you buy them. I haven't tried any of the sprayed ones, but the guy says they're pretty good.
