Smut peddler and California gubernatorial candidate Larry Flynt has done some hideous things to garner attention. But this time the so-called First Amendment champ has hit an all new low.

Flynt called for an Aug. 5 “National Prayer Day” to “pray for the death of Bill O'Reilly.”

Flynt’s Web site offers a sample “prayer” that describes the manner in which the Fox News host might meet his demise. It goes like this: “Dear (God/Allah/Buddha/other entity of your choice), we ask you to afflict Bill O'Reilly with a brain aneurysm that will lead to his slow and painful death.”

The Left Coast Report says, Isn’t it nice to know that Flynt’s not one of those mean-spirited Republicans?

I remember seeing a "True Hollywood Story" or something like that on Larry Flynt where he said, "If the First Amendment can't protect me, it can't protect anybody."

On the one hand, I hate the lengths the Constitution and the Bill of Rights have been stretched to protect those who we need to be protected from.

On the other hand, damn if I don't see his point.

While mean spirited; it is pretty funny. I like Bill O'Reily and Hustler too. And I think Bill has taken worse knocks on camera. I'm pretty sure he can hand the little porn king his but if need be. If Bill can dish it he can take it.... IMHO
