The first annual SALT LAKE CITY HERF will be held on Sat, 8/23

Yeah, I know ... herfs aren't exactly what SLC is most famous for ... but, I'm gonna be in Utah on vacation starting 8/16 and have set up a herf in SLC for Sat, 8/23 ... by the time the sun sets over the Great Salt Lake that day, herfs in SLC are likely to be a lot more well known ... our herfers will converge on SLC that day from all parts of Utah, southern Idaho and from parts of Nevada ...

One prospective attendee said in response to his invitation " ... now I find out there is someone who actually smokes cigars in Utah. I've been to SLC two out of the last three weekends with no idea where to smoke" ... well, now he does. And if you or someone you know lives in or near the SLC area, please ... feel free to come on down. Cigars and swag have been arranged and it's gonna be an afternoon to remember ...

When: Saturday, 8/23 from 11:30am to 5pm
Where: Green Street (located in Trolley Square)

We have reserved "The Den" for the afternoon ... there'll be prizes and surprises ...

SteveS --- I'd love to attend, if I could ... but the wife and I will be on a plane to Playa Del Carmen (the state of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninnsula, across from the Isle of Cozumel) on the 23rd ...

There is a 3 hour stopover in in Houston ... maybe I can get them to redirect the plane to SLC?

Knowing a bit about your taste in cigars, I can only say that you wouldn't be at all disappointed if that were to happen, Slim ... LOL ... oh, well 'nuther time ...

you and Mrs have a good time on that vacation ... and, be sure to pack your sunscreen ... I have NO idea how to advise on lighter and cutter ... I've heard every crazy story from all spectrums of possibility lately ... I took the safe route and mailed a lighter and cutter to myself at my sisters house ...
