wh are those funky looking metal boxes and what is the wire for?

You keep that Cognac cigar with the others?
Man, even with the stopper in, you can smell them across the room.
I would have thought that it would stink up the other cigars?

lol there are no metal boxes in there, and for the wiring it is attached to the digital hygrometer,

I have had a few cigars that were underneath the cognac, and they taste fine no flavoring from the cognac cgar,

lastzap, I have that same hygro and you can safely snip that wire off if you'd like. You'll then see "LO" as the outside temp, but the inside temp and the humidity still read fine. It was nice to get the wire out of the way.
