Last night I had a fine meal out of crab cake and NY strip, came home and fired up an Opus X XXX(Power Ranger). It was mmmm. I smoked that little fattie to a nub. Then it hit me. Man, nicotine OD! My Tobacconist has the same problem. I have OD'd with a ISOM Cohiba esplendido, too. I've got a nice Opux X lancero for Christmas evening and now I'm a bit leary. I think I'll just take my time with it. I'm usually a puffer first to last.

The same thing happened to me when I smoked my first Bolivar Belicoso Fino ISOM..I felt unbelievably nauseous!...Of course I DID smoke two other cigars a few hours before the ISOM.

Same here on my first Perdomo Estate Monstro ... thought I was going to pass out. Lips got all tingly, got light headed, turned green ... almost hurled! After that, I've been fine ever since ...

I've been smoking cigars and chewing tobacco products for 40 years and the only time I ever felt ill was my first couple dips of Copenhagan years ago.

KM, don't worry about the Lancero it is a much milder smoke than the XXX (Power Ranger).

I had a similar experience with my first Opus. I drove to a mall about an hour away and bought it. I was too anxious so I smoke it on the drive back and nearly drove off the road a couple of times. Finally I had to park and get a bottle of water to clear my head.
