So we all know the story of how JFK sent his aide to stock up on 1000 Cubans the night before the embargo. So I'm reading this book about what happened to those cigars.

Supposedly, this Cuban guy whose business is hurting cause of the embargo gets pissed and decides to raise some money by stealing and selling JFK's Cuban cigars to this congressman's father-in-law. He says that it will all be easily done due to creation of diversion.

Turns out, the diversion is the assissination. the theory is that there were some Cubans that were really pissed about how the embargo was hurting them and their businesses so they got Oswald to cap JFK while they stole the Cubans from Camelot. Oswald messed up the plan and so they got Jack Ruby to make sure Oswald didn't talk.

My life is just boring enough for this book to be interesting. But all this has come out in the first 30 pages. I'm interested to see what the rest of the book is going to do.

Oh well...had the time...figured I'd post.

the story sounds like its based around cigars and White house folks... by close to the end of the book it will tell how Bill Placed the Left over JFK stash in Monika Lewinski's Snach.... and then gave the Cigar to President of Egypt on his visit to the White House for Pizza and Beer and a doobie on the roof with Willie

About 210 pages...Already know the pissed off Cuban expatriates set it up. And it is set in the early 60's. Don't know if it extends into the Clinton era or not.

But hell...sounds like you have a good idea for a book, HOG!!!!

I think I read once before that JFK was a freak for Candelas. Any word on what kinds of ISOMs he set aside? I imagine it would be a variety, but do wonder if he was partial to Candelas.
