--The Administration is looking VERY suspicious on this whole CIA agent leak thing. No independent prosecutor? Uh, sure, we can trust Ashcroft...just not with our constitutional rights?

--Schwarzenegger admires Hitler and sexually harasses women. Hey, if you crucified Clinton for it, be consistent! At least Bill didn't think Hitler was a hero.

--Limbaugh is exposed as a pill-popping racist. You had to see that one coming! Good to see his deranged rants were rooted in drug abuse.

--The Yankees lost the opener to the Twins in the Bronx (OK, so that one is just gratuitous...I just despise the Yankees).

A Twins-Cubs World Series would just cap off a fabulous month. I have no doubts that these trends will continue. The Cubs in the World Series? Well, that is a 'to see' proposition...

As for Hitler...

He was one of the most polished, well-practiced public speakers in history. He was absolutely mesmerizing, which accounts in part for his rise to power. Sure, he deserves an eternity of being anally raped with barbed wire, but the man had some undeniable expertise and talent. His tools were sharp.

Admitting that he was a skilled orator / rabble rouser and admiring him are two very different things!!

I don't know what he said about Hitler so I will not weigh in on it, just wanted to point out the difference...

Saying we haven't found the WoMD (yet) is NOT the same thing as saying there are none to be found ...

the fact IS, Iraq DID have quite a little arsenal of WsOMD ... that really isn't in question ... hell, they've actually USED some ... it's no secret that they got some from Russia, got some from France and even got some from the US at one point back when we were providing support to help them fight Iran ...

Let's face it ... how tough could it be to hide a cache of arms of any type in a rugged country the size of California ???

Kuwait foils smuggling of chemicals, bio warheads from Iraq

Kuwaiti security authorities have foiled an attempt to smuggle $60 million worth of chemical weapons and biological warheads from Iraq to an unnamed European country, a Kuwaiti newspaper said on Wednesday.
The pro-Government Al-Siyassah, quoting an unnamed security source, said the suspects had been watched by security since they arrived in Kuwait and were arrested "in due time." It did not say when or how the smugglers entered Kuwait or when they were arrested.

The paper said the smugglers might have had accomplices inside Kuwait. It said Interior Minister Sheik Nawwaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah would hand over the smuggled weapons to an FBI agent at a news conference, but did not say when.

Government officials could not be immediately reached for comment.

Iraqi Interior Minister Nouri Al-Badran met on Tuesday with Sheik Nawwaf and discussed cooperation between the two countries in security matters. His visit is the first by an Iraqi interior minister to Kuwait since 1990.

SteveS, cache of arms aren't WMD. Regular bombs wouldn't even be in my list of WMD. Remember, Bush pretty much said they had Nuclear stuff. That's what is the pot of gold for Bush. Chemical weapons are common. Biological are a little harder to get and use effectively. So the big issue was the NUCLEAR ONES!

Just to clarify, HARRASSING women and womanizing are two very different things. Last I heard sexual harassment and unwanted groping were not legal, having consensual extra-marital affairs while morally wrong, is not illegal. And the latest claim against Arnie was in 2000, while he was married, that's more recent than any of Clinton's infractions, so how is it OLD news.
