>>rant mode on<< i really can't stop laughing at the ignorance of some of the bidders on cigar bid. Once again a lot went for more than market value. who are the idiots that do this? now this isnt' sour grapes, but i was out bid tonight on a cube of aristoffs. they went for 31 bucks i think. you can get the SAME cube from for 29 bucks! i even put that sells them for 29 in the comments bar. what kind of moron would do that? yeah it is only a couple of bucks but hey cigar bid's slogan is "never pay retail again." so who the hell would pay more than retail?? what's even MORE amusing are the bundles of punch/hoyD rothschild seconds being auctioned off as of late. they're going for over 30 dollars!! do you people not know what consegura 9s are?? they are the same damn smoke and they go for 20 bucks a bundle!!!! who in their right mine would pay ten extra dollars for these smokes? i really think alot of the bidders here need to get their heads examined for paying more than market value for cigars. >>rant mode on<<

please don't say anything. i bought 5 5packs of ????

for a total of $75. normally a box of 25 would run in the $200. range. the hamilton house that go for $10. to $15. per cigar in vegas (i hate to call them sticks. gum comes in sticks, birds sit on sticks, and i used to play pick up sticks) went for $20. a box of 25. these may not be the best cigars in the world, but they are way above average. there are a lot of excellent cigars going for less than they should, and sometimes people get carried away, and over pay. please don't point that out again, you will screw up my bidding.

Oh, Wany! Waannyyyyyy! Where art thou? This is one of your favorites. Go get him! Com'on boy, he's all yours. We've been saving him for you entirely! LOL.

LMAO!...Go get em Wany!...Consuegras...Ugh...I actually enjoy the Punch/Hoyo Rothchilds, but the Consuegras are just horrible!...Please check the archives and see the numerous "Overbidding" rantings previously posted before posting a new one (with the same content)...That's why they call it an auction people!...We'll consider it a newbie mistake this time...LOL

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Deadhorse Blah Blah blah

I hadn't noticed 🙂

I agree with you on your rant regarding bidders who do not know "market value". Aristof's are/were fine cigars and has a great supply of them...He is thinking about producing them again-at a reasonable price!

I only enjoy the Aristoffs with the Brazilian Maduro wrapper personally...Lots of flavor

Let'em bid high......it's their money!

As I sit here enjoying my $35.00 a five pack Padron #3000.. I think should I even sign in and make statement to this Overbidding Moron Post.. An Auction is an Auction.. So I think Yes maybe I should because possibly this person who made this Post is the same guy who has been Bidding right along side of my over bids with his Comment of you can get these at retail for less.. or some other comment I have seen.. looking far beyond that comment tho after the Auction closes and he along with I paid over what it Would sell for retail.. I think to my self well who's the Moron/dumby here?? Man these Padrons are well worth the extra change I spent on them Crunch the Numbers

5 x 7.00 = 35.00... and I paid 11.00 a Gar' in the local Shop.. not bad for not waistin the Gas to get there... Laterzzzzzzzzz

Hog

just don't worry about other people and their money, point is you did not pay more than retail... next topic please.....

When I first started bidding, yes, I too got carried away and overspent on a couple of items. Biggest blunder thinking a 10 pack was a box!!!! Live and learn. But don't admit that you overbid on purpose!

Wow....bring on the CAO's and other "pricey" smokes!

When i first started, I overbid on some stick. I used to label all of my cigars w/ the date and price paid, and often shake my head at my own foolishness when seeing some of those prices.

....gallops overheard..... galloping slows down.... gunshot heard... thud follows gunshot... horse is dead... you guys approach with sticks and begin to beat the horse... whack whack whack whack.... horse is still dead... 🙂

LMAO Heg!

Usahog,

Geez, man, I can get a BOX of Padrons for $75!

Hog,

You pay $11 per stick for Padron?

Ouch!

Today JP must have hit the lottery. 39 for a 5 pack of

Bock y Ca Corona Oscuro. Whoa! This isn't just a little high it's outragous. I guess some people have money to burn.

I just bid $300 on a five-pack of Ancla Y Cazadores. Is that wrong??? So far I'm winning the bid!!! I don't want you guys bumping me. I'm willing to go as high as $1,500 for these. Thank God for auto-bid!

Ahh, them good ol’ days when overbid threads were new.
