Does anyone know where I can find a chart that has all the guitar chords. And I mean ALL of them. I know all the basics, but when I pull up chords to learn a song, sometimes stuff like F#7sus4 or Edim7/Db throws me....
I found a site where you can search individually, but I would like to just print out a chart that has all of them on one page for me to refer to. Oh yeah, I don't want to pay for it... : ) Any ideas??

ethan,

I had a poster that had all of them on it. Don't know if I can find it, but if so...it's yours....as long as it's not for praise and worship music!!!!

As far as websites, etc go, I too have found many that will give individual chords but nothing that has the whole shebang.

If you played bass you wouldn't have to worry about chords.

Man, that's cruel. At least we're not drummers!

Touchee al'Thor

Some of us also play bass because there is more demand for them then guitarists. That and we have long arms and big hands and that neck on a six sting is just too small.

Damn straight. That's because we keep the rhythm.

There used to be a book available at music stores called Chord Chemistry. It was very helpful in teaching more advanced chords and seemed pretty darn comprehensive. Maybe it's still available.

Guitar players do it in Harmony. If you want chicks, play the harmonica, they know you can really cover all the holes, LOL.

We get the chicks because we have long arms, big hands, and they assume everything else is in porportion (rightly so I might add).

But the guitarists get all the fame. Bass players are a lot like air. You never really notice them until they are missing. Or I suppose unless they stink.

The funny thing is I used to play guitar (rhythm) but nobody needs them. So it was either learn lead or play bass. Bass was easier so I went that route. So your original statement is pretty true in my case.

LLT wins!!!!! Thanks, buddy! That's just what I was looking for! You a guitar player? Maybe we'll have to get together some time and jam?

What the hell do you need a chart for?

One end of the cord goes into the guitar and the other goes in the speaker thingy!

Even us drummers know that!

Occassionally, I see them in places like Kmart and Spenser Gifts. You need to check the poster section of the store. should be around $9

When I was learning piano, years ago, I used a guitar chord book I bought at a music store. It was much easier to read than trying to decypher flats, sharps, minors, majors etc.

You probably found what you needed at that web site. Looks similar to the book I used.
