Can you guys recommend a good mild cigar with a middle of the road price. Thanks!

I just picked up a box of Gran Habanos Churchills. They weren't the best I've had, but I'm not trying to pawn them off on anyone either. Pretty decent. I've a fondness for the Ashton Panetelas, if you like a smaller cigar, but they are a little pricy, definitely middle of the road at just over $5 a stick. Arturo Fuente Brevas, and Cuesta Rey Centanrios round out what I would suggest to you. I have a preference for the mild to medium bodied cigars myself.

There are many too choose from, try different ones to meet your tastes.

Macanudo, Nat Shermans, AVO, and the other BOTL's here will give you an additional 50 or so other brands and types..

Enjoy your experience.

Actually for the best mild smoke around, I favor the Griffin's. For me they are a mild smoke that has some real taste. You could also try Macanudo, Baccarat, Astral, AVO, CAO Gold.

I actually have a very good mild cigar. It is the Siglo 21 in the Toro size and the Torpedo size. Send me your address and I'll fire a few your way.

email me at rpope123 at bellsouth dot net

Not sure what middle of the road means ( I used to think I knew what it meant...) but I love the La Flor Dominicana L300-L500 (the L600 and L700 have more kick) and they retail at my shop for $3.99

I always nominate Santa Damiana Connecticut...and they can be had for less than $3 here on C-bid...the H-2000 wrapper Santa Damiana is also very good...but packs a little bit more punch...

And the Cupido's...oh man...

Sending some Siglos, a Carlos Torano Reserva Selecta Tubo, a Don Diego Royal Palmas, a CAO Black Corona, a La Pearla Habana Classic Toro (watch it, this one is a little stronger than the others), a Don Diego Reserve Corona, and a Baccarat Belicosa.

Hope you enjoy. Will go in the mail by Friday.

Cheers,

Grond

I would suggest the Avo Classic for a nice mild smoke, though they run about $6-7. For a great mild smoke that's quite affordable, try the Flor de Oliva original which will only run you about $2.50.

Enjoy.

I think that I will go with al'Thor on this... The La Flor Dominicana line in general is not overpowering, and has just the right amount of flavor at a decent price.

Good call al'Thor!

I agree on La Flor Dominicana, especially the Alcalde 1997, which as far as I know is only available here on this site. Hands down the best tasting mild cigar I've ever smoked.

AlThor- I know what you mean! I always thought I was a candy a** and went for the mildest cigars, but I see many of my favorites and near faves listed as being medium to medium-full bodied !?!?!?

I second the Gran Habanos. They are fairly new and undiscovered and I think "a steal" if you can find them and like mild cigars. Mild, not heavy on flavor, but slightly sweet taste, very similar to Cusano Corojo (another one for you to try...there's lots!)

Well, not such a steal where I just saw them! Get them here at Cbid. See a a box being offered. Don't see them often.
