I would also say CAO, now that I have tried all lines from both companies. I figure CAO might run away with this one, but I wanted to see if there are any that say Torano. Both are great!

Nope,
Torano does mke some of the CAOs, but some are made by Perdomo, and I am not sure who else makes CAO for the Company.

Torano makes the Brazilia line for CAO.

Hey OrdnryAvgGuy
Are you Joe Walsh or what?

Don't see how you can compare the two. IMO the CAO lines made by Torano are Toranos. How do you compare a company to itself? Now if you want to compare the CAOs made by Torano to the ones made by other companies I think Torano wins hands down.

picky, picky!

Regardless of who makes who, my ? was a "pick one".
I think the companies are very comparable....

Picky???

If Torano makes the cigar isn't it theirs even if CAO sells it? It's all a matter of opinion. Maybe you are referring to labels only?

Anyway, Brazilia is my favorite CAO sold product(the blacks are a close second) but I have yet to try the MX2.

If you like the CAO Black you will probably like the MX2. It is more full bodied like the Black IMHO.

I like both Toraño and CAO ... both are good lines ... but my favorite CAOs are the Brazilias which Toraño makes ...

Tony,
not too much longer before that MX2 arrives. My ? was based around what it says on the band. I know I should take into consideration what factory, and what company helped the other.....but my brain is small.

Across all sizes, Torano is more consistently good but the CAO Brazilia Samba edges the Exodus Gold double corona by a notch.

I can see Tony's point, it's easy to compare cigars - but when comparing labels, brands or companies, it's a little more complicated.... CAO offers tons of different gars, but only because they don't make them all as said before, but when someone asks what my favorite 'brands' of cigars are, I usually toss CAO and CT right together because they're so comparable, so my answer is - tie. : ) Brazilia, Exodus Gold & Silver, L'anniv., Xtreme, signature, 1916, Black, Gold, Reserva Selecta - they is all good!!!! Can't wait to try that Tribute!!!

In my opinion, the best Torano product is the Signature. The best CAO product is the Brazilia (havent tried the MX2 yet, so cant comment there). The rest I could take or leave. Asking me to choose between those two cigars would be like asking me to choose only one of the Olsen twins.

Rich... I couldn't even imagine having to choose between the two (Olsen Twins that is...) 🙂
