I LOVE this place!!!! I did some figuring. I've bought 125 gars over the last 4 days. This fact alone was freaking me out a bit, but then I figured my per stick average with shipping.....$1.68/stick, and that's for stuff that runs between $5 & $9 per stick retail.

You can't see it but I'm dancing on my desk top right now.

I know, the vets are probably saying "typical Newbie.....wait till the wife threatens to leave him when he coverts her shoe closet into a walk-in humidor". ;o)

Typical newbie.

Your right, WG you're screwed! Be prepared to sell your car, your house and your kids' college funds.

Welcome W.G. and yes it is a great place and yes you will need a cooler at your rate very soon and yes the little woman will get upset. But it is worth it.

I'm dancin' with yah -- figuratively speaking, of course! ...grin... I'm up to 75 sticks -- patiently waiting on at least 50 of them to arrive -- and still reelin' from a newbie trade with Lowman!!! In fact, I'm sittin' here puffin' away on one of Lowman's Joya de Nicaragua Antano gift-sticks and sippin' on a two-fingered shot of Woodford Reserve bourbon -- and damned near in heaven!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ...

WOODFORD RESERVE yes the bourbon of the gods. Glad to see it getting a call. Sipping a little myself with a Torano Sig as I type.

No finer excuse for a double-post than Woodford Reserve!!! My favorite all-time favorite bourbon -- especially with a cigar!!!

Good choice, amigo!!!!

kaykabound. Living in Kentucky we know a little about 3 things. Basketball Horses and Bourbon. In my mind you can spend a lot more on Bourbon but it does not get much better than Woodford Reserve. SMOOTH

I've got my average cost down to 1.59 a gar! 1.22 if you count the little ones! I try to keep a mix of premiums and dailies that will keep me puffing away! 🙂

AAAHHHH, another one into the flock. Welcome WG.

A word of advice, don't buy everything you see. There'll be plenty of chances to get great bids. If you don't see it here, go to CI. Still a great price.

Keep an eye on how much you spend on bids and on how much the sticks are worth, not on how many you have. For those of us that have been BTOL for a few decades can tell you, you never can have enough and can't stop. 33 years and 60,000 sticks later, still lovin' it. I keep about 2,200 gars on hand, at about $3.00 a stick.

Never consider how much you've spent on all your stash. You'll get sick. I spend about $500.00 a month. Not always premiums. There are others that spend much more.

Like a baby, you've got to live and learn, till you're all "growed up". You'll make mistakes, so what, fahgedaboudit! You have a lot of livin' to do. Enjoy the ride.

You'll no you're hooked when you start piggybacking!
