Well, I was planning on going to see Jimmy Buffett this past season, but his mother passed and he cancelled the Bay Area show. He re-scheduled for tonight, but alas, I have again missed the proverbial boat. So here I sit at this damn computer (too cold to go outside for a cigar) drinking hard alcohol, watching soft porn and listening to my CD collection.

He is a lot of fun in concert. This is only the second show I've missed in ten years. He's also doing a show in Vegas for the opening of the newest Margaritaville, and I will not be available for that show either.
My wife said something about responsibility and family priorities or something... I couldn't hear her over the strains "I don't know where I'm a gonna go when the Vol-Ca-No blows".

Awesome guy. I've seen him twice and can agree that nothin' is better than seeing him live. But listining for free aint bad either.

Yeah, that's listed in my favorites, but as you said, nothing like being there live.

I've been to two concerts and had margaritas in Margaritaville in Key West and Orlando.

I guess I shouldn't complain... I was able to visit Margaritaville in Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril this past December. It was nice, but still, it's not the same as dancing with 25,000 people that you don't know.

Well, it's afgter ten now and the rum is gone but Jimmy is still going strong. I shut the porn off hours ago and braved the cold to have a Buc Peg Leg. Thought it was appropriate.
