I have been trolling this site and forum for the last couple of weeks since my boss showed it to me. He is also the person that got me hooked on cigars. One of the questions that just peeks my curiousity after reading a lot of posts is just how many cigars do most of you keep in house at one time? I am lucky to have 2 in the house at one time. Now granted I am just starting out on this wonderful cigar filled journey and I have a wife that goes into budget lockdown when I spend $7.00 for a cigar, but it sounds as if some of you have 100's of cigars for personal pleaseure. So I am just curious.

To answer your question, somewhere around 300 give or take a few dozen I would say, but that is just me. If I had the space, and the finances I would build and fill an escaparate.

To explain a little more and answer some questions....Mountain Dew is one of many redneck bevs. The reason the short cigar supply for me at this point has to do with a few factors. I tend to have expensive hobbies. I play golf and Ice Hockey every week which as most know are not cheap. My boss, which my wife is not happy with now, gave me my first cigar during the start of golf league. I am still trying different brands and so on so have not wanted to invest in more that 1 at a time so far. After reading the boards I think I may go for a sampler to try more out and to keep from going into the cigar shop every other day or so.

I have already decided that the first Humidor purchase will be one that I just buy, bring home, and ask forgiveness instead of permision. I thought I could try the excuse that she uses for her purse purchases you all know it..."That old thing? I have it it for ever I just haven't used it in a long time."

You will be using your work address for all your cigar shipments, correct? Right? Think about it before you answer. 🙂
