irrandan- what do you like? Some of us might make suggestions if we knew what your preferred flavor profile was like. There are lots of helpful people on here!

Welcome irrandan,
What have you smoked that you enjoyed. With that info, we can give better advice, as to the brands you should try. Other than that, bid on 5packs, of things you haven't tried. Don't go bid on a box, until you know what you like. For beginner smokes, you can't go wrong with Don Diego, nice and mild. another beginner smoke would be the 5 vegas, or macanudos. These are cigars that would be a tease to me now, but were great when I was a novice smoker. I like them more med. to full now.
Have a great day, and stick around, you'll love this place.

I like maduro wrapped, especially the Padrons. I have had Gurkha, Cohiba, A Fuente, Don Tomos, and a several other medium bodied cigars. The only thing that restricts me from some of the brands that I like is the price. I was wondering if you may have tried some not so expensive, but well rounded medium bodied cigars. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, I bought a sampler 8 pack of some inexpensive Nicaraguan cigars. One of my friends favored the tobacco from Nic and said it was the smoothest.

get the some toraños! give the (boxpressed) 1959 exodus gold a try, and try the signature (toro or perfecto) and the silver exodus if you like just a slight bit of sweetness; the reserva selecta maduro torpedo is a slice of heaven, though i don't so much care for the naturals -- others do. when you fall in love with toraños, then save up and get the more expensive stick, the tribute.

Yep Tony^^^^^ said it. Exodus 59 GOLD. They, are a great cigar, can't beat it in the flavor/Dollar, or bang for the buck. I would also suggest Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro, as well. Also Perdomo Reserve Maddies.

Also, you could try the Trades Board and do a newbie trade to get a sampler of different types of cigars. If you tell the 'experienced trader' what you want to try, he'll hook you up.

you can get some great deals here on CAO's - very consistent... plus what everyone else said...

Welcome to the madness everyone has given you good advice. Go ahead and check out the cooler options you will most likely need one. Best line for the money is the Toranos.

Based on what you like, and price, I would recommend the Onyx Reserve Mini-B, the Exodus (like everyone else), and if you want to step up into a higher flavor profile (kick in the head), try La Gloria Cubanas and El Rico Habanas.

Interestingly, one of the most full flavored cigars that I have had so far is a The Cigar by Perdomo. Don't smoke it on an empty stomach, this is not a breakfast cigar!
