I would say overly sensitive seems to be the flavor. The true spirit of the post, joviality, seems to have eluded some.

I love jokes just as everyone else does but when something borders bigtime on making fun of someone then I tend to find it less funny.

no...not flavor....."taste" some use it alot less than others. poking alittle fun isn't being too hurtful ....but when it is really bothering someone.....it's "lack of" taste that keeps it going. and i got a good sense of humor ! but i've also got the brains to know when the lines been crossed . but unfortunatly , some don't ! and keep pushing it....why?...... the jokes done ! now it is in the stage where someone takes offense ...not joking back ! if thier not joking back it's time to back off and find another target.
lighten up ? i'm about the most layed back easy going person there is! i can blow it off or bounce it back , here to make friends ...but i learned along time ago....not everyone wants to be your friend. your friends pick you not visa versa.....and they pick you by "who you are". so as for the comment lighten up.....i'm about as lightened up as they come.....but i'm not joining in nor do i personally aprove of the borderline harrassing that's going on. a little bit is expected...but it's been pushed to the level of "tasteless" n "flavorless".

I remember when I took a wine class several years ago and the instructor passed out some really excellent wines that cost very little, and some really crappy wines that were really expensive.

While the majority of the wines that were higher priced were better tasting, it is not a requirement.

Also, think of it this way, if Liz (or anyone else for that matter) loves the cheap stuff, then she wins because she doesn't have to high prices to enjoy herself.

I envy those that love the cheap stuff!
