For those of you who have cabinet humidors or those looking to get one. I have a few questions.

How much room for growth did you give yourself?

Did you trick out your cabinets with custom touches or were they pretty standard?

Did you place greater emphasis on increased loose cigar storage or box storage?

Is your humi used for more an aging place and less a daily use humi? Meaning do you still keep table top humis or is your cabinet the only place you keep cigars?

Any other info about your decisions would be great. In the event that this discussion will violate any Cbid rules I can be reached at

I topped a couple of pictures of my cabinet on the pictures post. I converted a china cabinet. Really, all I did was add weather stripping to the doors and 1 by 12 cedar shelves. It still has quite a bit of room for expanding my collection. I included a vertical storage area on the top left shelf that's perfect for opened bundles and loose cigars. I use table top humis for convenience but still find myself digging in the cabinet on a regular basis.

I got a Verona from CBid. What a great deal...

1. How much room for growth did you give yourself? There is never enough space.

2. Did you trick out your cabinets with custom touches or were they pretty standard? Nah, I filled it with sticks.

3. Did you place greater emphasis on increased loose cigar storage or box storage?

Increased loose storage.

4. Is your humi used for more an aging place and less a daily use humi? Meaning do you still keep table top humis or is your cabinet the only place you keep cigars?

I use it for both and keep two extra humi's - one for my flavoreds and one for special displays.
