Well guys....I am just waking up, having a cup of coffee and enjoying a good cigar. Trying to recoup from the herf! What a great time! There were like 8 of us there. A friend of Yatang's showed up first....this guys comes walking in with a big ole chest humidor! I said, this has got to be one of the guys we are looking for! Yep...Yatang's friend Scott....awesome guy. Ken (ilovemaui) and a friend of his Mike showed up. Now get this...Rick and I drive from Eugene to meet people we don't even know, but Thom....who started this box pass, drive 4 hours!!! Awesome to see him there. We all gave him a cigar or 2 for being the winner of the "longest drive" category! We had a incredible time getting to know these guys. There was not a bad one in the bunch! Everyone was a very nice person, with some pretty interesting stuff going on in their lives!! Yatang shared his life story with us...all I can say is the he is a very special man, with great values in life!! The cigars? Who can remember! LOL There was not a bad cigar smoked all night....probably the worst one was my PSD3 that had a real tight draw, but I suffered through it. Followed it up with a PAN 1964 I got in my birthday bombs....mmmmm, now that was a GOOD cigar! These guys sure know there cigars! I learned so much from you all! We started at 5pm and finally started heading home sometime around 10! I did get a few pics, that didn't come out the best, but not bad. I will post them later today when I get a chance. I let the rest of the guys tell you all about their cigars. There is a great shot of Yatang smoking up a special AF cigar...what was it andy?

A great time had by all!! Cigars smoked, cigars given away. and cigars that we there to be view and awed! Some that should be smoked, but probably never will? (just smoke it Yatang....you can't hang it on the wall!)

Okay, I just mowed the lawn. I have sometimes to write a recap of the event from my point of view.

Let me start by saying that it was such a pleasure to meet you all. I have so much fun and it really make the cigars much more enjoyable when you can share with some decent folks like you guys. I want to say that Rick(crabbylane) had made some amazing sacrifice in order to help some kids that might otherwise never have a future. I let him to tell you about that himself. It is a very very admirable act.

I have so much fun and probably will hook up with Ken(ilovemaui) to join their Cigar club soon. Mr. Turnberry's name came up a few times with all good things. Everyone is grateful of your help to put this box together. And I personally want to thank Fred for trading with me when I was a newbie on the aboard and even gave me extra ISOMs in the trade. Fred, your good deed that shines upon us will not be forgotten. Rick is waiting for you to compensate him for that Tribute 🙂 you better make it good after Thom and I have said so many good things about you.

Again, and again I want to thank everyone for giving me the chance to be part of this BoxPass and Thom for all the work you have done. I thank everyone for all the cigars that were given to me, the nice conversation and the knowledge about cigars that you guys shared. I am looking forward to hang out with you guys again. Oh as far as the cigars, I smoked a Tribute, Best sellers, XXO Maduro. I know, I know but I just can't pull myself together to smoke that BTL ..............
