my brother, after reading the life of bix, bought himself a coronet, taught himself to play, contacted ziggy elman, who lived nearby, and studied with him for several years. when i used to pick him up
at a rehersal, i couldn't tell who was playing as i sat in the living room waiting for the rehersal to end.
my brother was that good. he stopped playing.

people with talent piss me off. i have little if any artistic talent, other then the gift of gab, and i am not stopping.

a lot of hard work on both are parts so the last part of our lives could be lived with each other in love and in harmony.

through all the hard times that all couples
go through, we were determined to maintain the love, that part was easy, but to adjust to each other's personal needs and wants.
