I fell out of my chair laughing today when reading my email.

Last month I sent a package of 10 cigars, a cutter, and a lighter to a friend of mine in trade for a few bottles of wine.

He wrote me today and said that thanks to his "Man Kit" he is able to celebrate being a man by lighting up a cigar every now and then and scaring away all the women folk.

I think I will have to send him some refills for his Man Kit to keep him a member of the cigar loving family.

Any recommendations on what I should send him that will knock him on his butt?

Depends on how long he's been smoking cigars... You wouldn't want to send him a TTT that'd kick him in the stomach if he only smokes the Avo Classics. 😛

aznaries: the question was what to send him that would "knock him on his butt" though. 🙂

i agree -- the JDN antaño 1970 should do it!

if you don't want to knock him out with nicotine but make his eyes water from the spiciness, get him a suarez gran reserve royal corona. ay carumba!

Yes Cavallo, but I still think it's .... bad 😛.

Other than ERH and TTT, LAdC, Partagas Black & Spanish Rosado, Perdomo cigars, Griffin's Fuerte are good choices as well. 😉

Lots of good ones.

I think he needs to be taught that he is not yet a man. So, I will stomp him, via long distance, using some strong cigars.

Bucanero Full Sail, Texas Star, or El Capitan.

Those will leave him wanting more...if he's not ready for the full tilt boogie...Send him a Bucanero Catalina, Windjammer Maduro or a Crew. The Don Douglas Cabinet Reserve burns nice and is tasty too.

Definetly Bucanero...I mean it IS a Man-kit. Anything else...well, let's just say we'd know who wears the pants!

I sent him a La Gloria before and he liked it but admitted it hit him a bit hard. I think a couple of El Rico Habanas should do the trick.

JDN antaño 1970 will never be something that I purchase. The owner of the company is a Sandinista. I can't support anyone that is a Sandinista after what they did to the Nicaguan tobacco industry during their time in power.
